Lafayette College is committed to supporting the full participation of our students in the democratic process. Voter education, registration, and engagement efforts on campus are coordinated through Lafayette Votes, our nonpartisan coalition of students, faculty, and staff.
Lafayette recognizes the important role that nonpartisan organizations play in encouraging civic participation. Outside organizations interested in offering voter registration, distributing materials, or otherwise engaging students on College property should be aware that such activities require advance written permission and should contact the Landis Center for Community Engagement rather than conducting independent outreach.
We ask organizations to respect the College’s established processes for engaging with students and encourage groups to direct voter registration efforts and related outreach toward the broader Lehigh Valley community.
