Lafayette College hosts two Community Town Hall meetings each academic year. These gatherings provide opportunities to share updates, understand community perspectives, and strengthen partnerships through transparency, collaboration, and mutual understanding.
Community members are able to register for Lafayette courses for credit or audit through the Part-Time Studies Program. Audits must have the written approval of the course instructor. Courses with a high degree of classroom participation, such as labs, studio designs, and languages, normally cannot be audited. Community members are welcome to visit the Libraries during regular library hours. Community members over the age of 16 may borrow materials from the Libraries through the Guest Borrowing Program. Due to licensing restrictions, the Guest Borrowing Program does not include access to electronic resources or interlibrary loans. Yes, the Quad is open to the community for walking, relaxing, and recreation. Dogs are welcome, but we ask that they remain leashed and their people clean up after them.
Community members are able to purchase a daily pass at any point in order to access the pool. There are also swim lessons offered at specific times that anyone can sign up for. Message aquatics@lafayette.edu for more information.
Lafayette Athletics is happy to host community youth athletic organizations at home games at no cost to children and their coaches. Children can welcome athletes to the field and meet them after the game. Contact Billie Weiss (weissb@lafayette.edu) in the Athletics Office for more information.
Yes. Lafayette College’s farm, known as LaFarm, sells fresh produce and flowers every Friday from the end of May through November at the plaza across from Wawa. The Performance Series at the Williams Center for the Arts offers culturally rich arts programming from September through May. Patrons who curate a package of five performances during the season will receive 20% off their package. Regular Performance Series tickets cost $33 each.
