Today we experienced our first day at God’s Love We Deliver, and what a productive day it was! After a brief introduction to the organization and the kitchen rules, we got right to work. Armed with cutting boards and 12″ chef knives (yikes!), we peeled 150 lbs of carrots, chopped 150 lbs of potatoes, and got teary-eyed over too many onions to count!

    Pictures! Morgan’s entry for the day, which I just finished before getting to yours, made me wanting to see some hairnet shots so thank you! However, turn your camera around once in awhile so the world can see how well a Learning Partner pulls off the hairnet style.

    You weren’t kidding about those knives…they’re HUGE! Hope the nicks and cuts of the day heal quickly.
