My time spent through SKIP at the Easton Area Community Center is always the highlight of my week. The kids are awesome and always so happy when we arrive. Whether we are there for homework help, to play games or to make arts and crafts, both groups could not be more excited. Some of my favorite moments are spent helping the younger kids with their homework. They all just need the extra push, and when they figure it out they could not be more proud. I love being a part of this process, and helping these kids reach the best of their abilities. SKIP is an amazing program because it allows Lafayette students to not only make a connection in the Easton community, but also develop individual relationships with the children we work with.
